This Kashmir family tour package uses two nights in Pahalgam to give families a full day without changing hotels. The five-night route also includes a Srinagar houseboat, a Gulmarg stay and a final Srinagar hotel night before departure.
After arriving in Srinagar, your family begins with an included Shikara ride and a houseboat evening. Pahalgam is the next base, with a separate day for optional valley visits, riverside walks or a lighter schedule for children and older family members. The trip then continues to Gulmarg and returns to Srinagar for city sightseeing. Sonamarg is not included in this particular plan; keeping the focus on three destinations leaves room for the second Pahalgam night. Share the ages of children, room-sharing preference and luggage requirements when requesting a quote. Extra-bed arrangements and any optional local taxi services will be explained before confirmation.

Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Arrival in Srinagar and Houseboat Stay
Airport to city stay: approx. 12-20 km | 30-60 minutes
Meet your driver at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your selected houseboat. Check in according to the property's timing and relax. Enjoy the included Dal Lake Shikara ride when arrival time and weather permit. If your flight is late, the ride will be coordinated on another suitable Srinagar visit within the itinerary. Dinner is included for the first night.

Day 02 · Srinagar to Pahalgam
Approx. 95-105 km | 3-4 hours of driving
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Pahalgam via the Pampore and Awantipora corridor, with a short stop where time and access allow. Continue into the Lidder Valley and check in. Spend the remaining time in town or by the river. Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari require separate local arrangements and are not automatically covered by the main transfer vehicle.

Day 03 · Full Day in Pahalgam
Selected local circuits approx. 40-70 km | Usually 5-7 hours; route-dependent
Keep the day in Pahalgam without a hotel change. You may choose optional visits to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari, subject to opening and road conditions. These excursions use locally permitted transport and have separate taxi or entry charges unless included in your quote. Alternatively, enjoy a lighter day near the river or hotel. Return to the same hotel for dinner.

Day 04 · Pahalgam to Gulmarg
Approx. 135-150 km | 4-5 hours of driving
Leave Pahalgam after breakfast and drive towards Gulmarg via Tangmarg. Check in and enjoy the accessible surroundings. The Gondola is an optional activity with separately booked tickets, subject to weather, operating conditions and available slots. With a late arrival, the evening is kept for check-in and a short walk.

Day 05 · Gulmarg to Srinagar and City Sightseeing
Approx. 55-65 km | 2-3 hours of driving, plus city visits
After breakfast, travel back to Srinagar and check in to your hotel. Use the available sightseeing time for selected stops such as Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Pari Mahal, Hazratbal or Shankaracharya Temple. The team will prioritise visits around opening hours, daylight and your pace; every attraction is not guaranteed in a single half-day. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 06 · Srinagar to Srinagar Airport
Approx. 12-20 km from the city stay | 30-60 minutes, plus airport reporting time
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight. The pickup time will be coordinated with your flight and airport reporting requirements. Shopping is possible only when it does not affect departure timing. The package ends with the airport drop; onward airfare is separate unless included in your written quotation.
Meals: Breakfast. No accommodation night is included after the final drop.

What happens if weather or road access changes
Sightseeing order and timing may be adjusted for weather, road access or operating restrictions. Activity operation and access depend on current conditions. Any material change or separately chargeable service will be explained through the applicable booking terms.
Are Gondola tickets and Pahalgam valley taxis included
No, unless added to the written quotation. Gondola tickets, Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari local taxis, entry fees, pony rides and extra activity services are priced separately. The base package includes only the sightseeing transport and ride stated under inclusions.
