Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Arrival in Leh and Local Sightseeing
Upon your arrival in Leh, our representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. After a smooth check-in, take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. If you feel up to it, you can spend the evening exploring some of Leh's highlights, including the serene Shanti Stupa, the historic Leh Palace, and the bustling local market. End your day with an overnight stay at the hotel, preparing for the adventures ahead.
Day 02 · Leh to Sham Valley Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to explore the wonders of Sham Valley. Begin with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a poignant museum dedicated to the memory of India's martyred soldiers. Continue to Spituk Monastery, a serene and historic site, followed by a stop at the 12th-century Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Experience the intriguing Magnetic Hill, known for its gravity-defying phenomenon, and witness the breathtaking confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers at Sangam. After a day of exploration, return to Leh for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 03 · Leh to Nubra Valley 4- 5 Hours (135 KM)
After breakfast, embark on a journey to the stunning Nubra Valley, crossing the world-famous Khardung-la Pass at an elevation of 18,380 feet, the highest motorable road in the world. Arrive in Nubra Valley by noon and visit the ancient Diskit Monastery along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel or camp. Later in the afternoon, experience the unique thrill of riding a double-humped (Bactrian) camel as you explore the mesmerizing white sand dunes of Hunder Village. Return to your hotel or camp for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 04 · Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake 8-9 Hrs (274 KM)
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake, traveling via the Shayok River route. Located at an altitude of 4,350 meters (14,270 feet) in the Changthang region, Pangong Lake stretches six to seven kilometers at its widest point and is renowned for its stunning color variations, ranging from deep blue to turquoise. The lake is a natural wonder, bisected by the international border between India and China. Take in the serene beauty of the lake and immerse yourself in its tranquil atmosphere. Later, return to your hotel or camp for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05 · Pangong Lake to Leh 6-7 Hrs (225 KM)
After an early breakfast, embark on your journey back to Leh, traversing the scenic Chang-la Pass. Along the way, you'll visit some of Ladakh's most renowned monasteries, including Hemis Monastery, Thiksay Monastery, and Shey Palace. You'll also have the opportunity to stop by the famous "3 Idiots" School, made popular by the Bollywood film. As you arrive in Leh, settle into your hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner. Day 06 · Departure from Leh
After a final breakfast in the beautiful landscapes of Leh, it’s time to bid farewell to the mesmerizing land of Ladakh. You will be transferred to Leh Airport for your flight back home, carrying with you the unforgettable memories of your journey through the stunning valleys, serene lakes, and majestic monasteries of Ladakh.
