Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Arrival Srinagar Airport to Kargil
Arrive at Srinagar Airport you will be met by our representative and drive towards the Kargil. Travel distance is 204 kms approximately. Post breakfast, begin your journey from Kargil to Srinagar via Drass.Visit Kargil War Memorial, Tiger Hill and many other important landmarks on this trip to Kargil Overnight in the hotel in Kargil.
Day 02 · Kargil to Leh (Lamayuru)
Post breakfast at your hotel, start a drive to Lamayuru. Visit Basgo Palace and the popular Lamayuru monastery which is one of the oldest in the region. Today you will be going through the most famous Ladakh and Srinagar highway. Also, you will be visiting the Giant Buddha at Mulbek en route. After reaching Leh, complete a smooth check-in process and spend the day to relax and acclimatize the High Altitude of Ladakh. If health permits, explore Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Market by evening. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 03 · Leh to Sham Valley
This morning after breakfast drive to visit Hall of Fame, (which is built in the memory of Indian Martyred Soldiers), Spituk Monastery, 12th century Gurudwara Pather Sahib, Magnetic Hill (the Hill that defies Gravity, Sangam, (confluence of Indus River and Zanskar river). Later, drive back towards Leh. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 · Leh to Nubra Valley (135 KM)
After breakfast, proceed towards Nubra Valley via Khardung-la Pass (highest motorable road in the World) with 18380 ft. Reach Nubra Valley by noon, enroute visit Diskit Monastery, check-in at the pre-booked Hotel/camp. Later, leave to enjoy a ride on double-humped (Bactrian) Camel to explore the white sand dunes of Hunder Village. Afterwards get back to the Hotel/Camp as the delicious dinner waits. Overnight at the Hotel/Camp in Nubra Valley.
Day 05 · Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake 7-8 Hrs (275 KM)
After breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake via Shayok River. The Pangong Lake is situated at the height of 4350 mtrs (14270 ft) in the Changthang region. The Lake is six to seven kilometers at its widest point. It is bisected by the international border between the India and China. The Lake has a brilliant color variation including deep blue and turquoise. Enjoy the beautiful scene of the Lake and return back to the Hotel/Camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/camp.
Day 09 · Srinagar Departure
After early breakfast at the houseboat visit the famous Shankaracharya Temple and then drive towards Airport for an onward destination with sweet holiday memories.
Day 07 · Leh to (Lamayuru) Kargil
