Travel Itinerary
Day 01 - Langkawi (3 Nights)
Mumbai to Mumbai tour guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Langkawi – known as the ‘Jewel of Kedah’.
Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests for airport formalities and proceed to the Lagkawai city.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own. The transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the (J&L) guests.
In the evening we explore the Pantai Cenang beach here we witness a beautiful sunset followed by a scenic & pleasant walk by the beach.
Day 02 - Langkawi
Today we enjoy a photo stop at Eagle Square – also known as ‘Dataran Lang’. The eagle is always a welcoming icon for every traveller coming into Langkawi. Langkawi's name has been derived from the reddish brown eagle, because in old Malay language ‘Helang’ means Eagle, and ‘Kawi’ stands for reddish brown, followed by we enjoy a cable car ride to visit Sky Bridge. Later we visit Mangrove Forest which is noteworthy for mangrove swamps, pristine beaches and vertical karstic hills jutting out towards the Andaman Sea. Here we get up close to the amazing mangroves on a comfortable boat ride and also see limestone outcrops, caves, a fossil location and a lot of amazing plants, on this ride, through the mangroves. Enjoy the unique experience of watching the eagles being fed. We then explore a darkened bat cave.
Day 03 - Langkawi – Penang (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Penang by ferry. Upon arrival, we visit Penang State Museum - considered as one of the top state museums in the country, followed by a visit Kek Lok Si Temple - the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. Later on, we enjoy the Tropical Fruit Farm tour at George Town. In the evening, we proceed to the Clan Jetties floating village to enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Day 04 - Penang
Today we visit Bukim Metrajam Recreational Forest for a walking trail in the lush green environment, Mengkuang Dam which draws visitors for its park with a scenic landscape, followed by a visit to the Dharmikarama Burmese temple which is the sole and oldest Malaysian Burmese temple in the state. Later we proceed to Penang Hill to enjoy a funicular tram ride (Penang Hill Train) from the top of the hill. Upon arrival at the top, we visit The Habitat – to witness its 130-million-year-old rainforest.
Day 05 - Penang – Kuala Lumpur (3 Nights)
Today we drive to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival we explore Putrajaya – a planned city, which serves as the Federal Administrative Centre of Malaysia. Later we visit the Observatory Deck of the K. L. Tower, which gives a marvelous view of the city.
Day 06 - Kuala Lumpur – Genting Highlands – Kuala Lumpur
Today we proceed to Genting Highlands by one of the longest and fastest Cable Cars of South East Asia. Upon arrival, we explore this world famous entertainment capital. Here we visit Genting SkyWorlds Outdoor Theme Park – Southeast Asia’s most anticipated theme park.
Note: If you wish to visit Casino - dress code is formals, Men - Trouser, Collar Shirt / T-shirt, Shoes; Women - Saree, Punjabi or western formal. (As per the universal rule, entry below 18 years of age is prohibited in casinos)
Day 07 - Kuala Lumpur
Today we explore Kuala Lumpur city, we see the King's Palace, Dataran Merdeka Square, National Mosque, Cricket Field and High Court Building, followed by a photo stop at the backdrop of Malaysia’s famous landmark – Petronas Twin Towers located above Suria KLCC Centre. Later we leave for Sunway Lagoon – The ultimate theme park in Malaysia.
Day 08 - Kuala Lumpur - Departure to Hometown
