Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Chandigarh to Dharamshala 6-7 Hrs (243 km)
Begin your journey with a pickup from Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station. Travel through picturesque hills and sacred temples as you drive to Dharamshala. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the journey, including views of the Dhaula Dhar Mountains. Upon arrival in Dharamshala, check into your cozy hotel, where a warm welcome awaits. Spend the night in the serene ambiance of Dharamshala.
Day 02 · Dharmshala Local Sightseeing & drive to Dalhousie 3-4 Hrs (120 km)
Start your day with a breakfast at the hotel, followed by a local sightseeing tour in Dharamshala. Visit McLeod Ganj, the Tibetan cultural hub, including the Dalai Lama’s Temple, St. John’s Church, and Bhagsunath Temple and Waterfall. Explore Dal Lake and the Cricket Stadium before embarking on a scenic drive to Dalhousie. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Dalhousie for a peaceful evening.
Day 03 · Dalhousie and Khajjiar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Dalhousie and Khajjiar. Dalhousie, named after the British Governor-General, offers a romantic setting with its varied vegetation and stunning views. Visit attractions such as Panj pula, Satdhara Falls, Kala top Wildlife Sanctuary, Dain Kund Peak, Bak rota Hills, and Subhash Baoli. Head to Khajjiar, often called the “Mini Switzerland of India,” where you can enjoy activities like zorbing or horse riding amidst lush deodar forests. In the evening, stroll along Dalhousie Mall Road (Gandhi Chowk). Enjoy a romantic dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 · Dalhousie to Chandigarh 8-9Hrs (313 KM)
After a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey back to Chandigarh. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes from Dalhousie to Chandigarh. Arrive at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, cherishing the memories of a romantic honeymoon in Himachal Pradesh.
