This Jammu Kashmir tour with a Sonamarg stay is for travellers who want a road holiday from Jammu and prefer an overnight visit to Sonamarg rather than a return excursion. The six nights are divided between Patnitop, Srinagar, Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam.
Patnitop is your first overnight stop. The journey then reaches Srinagar for a houseboat stay and continues along the Sindh Valley to Sonamarg. Staying there lets you enjoy the surroundings after the main transfer, with optional glacier activities arranged separately. You return to Srinagar for city sightseeing before moving to Gulmarg and Pahalgam. The last day is a long road transfer from Pahalgam to Jammu, so an evening train or late departure is more practical than an early flight. This itinerary involves frequent hotel changes. Travellers wanting longer stays in each destination can add nights and receive a revised private-tour quote.

Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Jammu to Patnitop
Approx. 110-120 km | 3-4 hours of driving
Meet your driver at Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station and begin the road journey to Patnitop. After check-in, enjoy a gentle walk near your hotel or spend the evening at leisure. A short local stop can be considered if your arrival leaves enough daylight. The sightseeing plan will be coordinated around your train or flight arrival.

Day 02 · Patnitop to Srinagar
Approx. 180-220 km | 6-8 hours of driving
Check out after breakfast and drive into the Kashmir Valley through the main highway corridor. Reach Srinagar, check in to your houseboat and rest after the journey. The included Shikara ride can be scheduled in the evening if there is sufficient time and suitable weather; otherwise the team will arrange it within the remaining Srinagar stay.

Day 03 · Srinagar to Sonamarg
Approx. 85-95 km | 2.5-3.5 hours of driving
Leave Srinagar after breakfast and drive through the Sindh Valley to Sonamarg. Check in and enjoy the accessible valley landscape. Optional Thajiwas sightseeing or a pony ride can be considered subject to access, weather and separate local charges. Stay overnight in Sonamarg rather than returning to Srinagar. Snow or a particular glacier experience is not guaranteed.

Day 04 · Sonamarg to Srinagar and City Sightseeing

After breakfast, return from Sonamarg to Srinagar and check in to your hotel. Other city attractions can be prioritised according to your interests and accessibility. Return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 07 · Pahalgam to Jammu Departure
Approx. 260-290 km | 8-10 hours of driving
Check out early after breakfast and begin the road journey to Jammu. This is a long transfer day and should be paired with a suitably late onward departure. Routine breaks will be taken, but a Patnitop sightseeing detour is not included. Allow additional time for highway traffic and access restrictions; an extra Jammu night can be quoted when needed.

Pickup is from Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station; drop is at Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station. Share arrival and departure details before booking. A different airport, station or city pickup may change the route, timings and cost.

What happens if weather or road access changes
Sightseeing order and timing may be adjusted for weather, road access or operating restrictions. Activity operation and access depend on current conditions. Any material change or separately chargeable service will be explained through the applicable booking terms.
Are Gondola tickets and Pahalgam valley taxis included
No, unless added to the written quotation. Gondola tickets, Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari local taxis, entry fees, pony rides and extra activity services are priced separately. The base package includes only the sightseeing transport and ride stated under inclusions.
