This Kashmir tour from Jammu with a Katra stay follows a compact four-night road circuit. It is suited to travellers who need Jammu pickup and drop and want a Katra stop before continuing to Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam.
Day 1 ends in Katra, while Day 2 is the road journey to Srinagar and your houseboat night. The next two nights are in Gulmarg and Pahalgam, followed by the long return transfer to Jammu. A Katra hotel night alone is not a complete Vaishno Devi darshan plan: no dedicated yatra day is included in this base itinerary. Add a second Katra night if darshan is required, and receive a revised five-night schedule and quote. This is also a transfer-heavy Kashmir holiday, so optional activities should be selected around the available time. Sonamarg and a full Pahalgam local sightseeing day are not included.

Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Jammu to Katra
Approx. 45-50 km | 1.5-2 hours of driving
Meet your driver in Jammu and travel to Katra. Check in and spend the remaining day at leisure or around the town. This base itinerary does not allocate a full Vaishno Devi darshan day. If darshan is part of your holiday, arrange a second Katra night and a dedicated yatra day before the next Kashmir transfer.

Day 02 · Katra to Srinagar
Approx. 220-260 km | 7-9 hours of driving
After breakfast, check out and make the long road journey from Katra to Srinagar. Check in to your houseboat and rest. The included Shikara ride can be scheduled that evening when arrival and operating conditions allow, or coordinated at another suitable point in the route. This transfer day is not intended for a complete Srinagar city tour.

Day 03 · Srinagar to Gulmarg
Approx. 55-65 km | 2-3 hours of driving
After breakfast, travel to Gulmarg through Tangmarg and check in to your hotel. Use the remaining day for accessible local walks or an optional Gondola visit if you have a confirmed slot. Tickets, snow activities and any required local transport are separate unless your quotation includes them. The driver will coordinate the route around current road and operating conditions.

Day 04 · Gulmarg to Pahalgam
Approx. 135-150 km | 4-5 hours of driving
Check out after breakfast and drive to Pahalgam. The final approach follows the Lidder Valley. On arrival, check in and enjoy the town or a riverside walk where accessible. Optional local valley sightseeing may be arranged only if time allows, with the required local taxi and entry charges paid separately unless confirmed in your quote.

Day 05 · Pahalgam to Jammu Departure
Approx. 260-290 km | 8-10 hours of driving
Check out early after breakfast and begin the road journey to Jammu. This is a long transfer day and should be paired with a suitably late onward departure. Routine breaks will be taken, but a Patnitop sightseeing detour is not included. Allow additional time for highway traffic and access restrictions; an extra Jammu night can be quoted when needed.
Meals: Breakfast. No accommodation night is included after the final drop.

Does the Katra night include a full Vaishno Devi visit
No dedicated darshan day is included. The next morning continues to Srinagar. If darshan is essential, add a second Katra night, complete the yatra on the added day and begin the Kashmir transfer afterwards.
Where are pickup and drop included
Pickup is from Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station; drop is at Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station. Share arrival and departure details before booking. A different airport, station or city pickup may change the route, timings and cost.
Is this a private tour
Yes. The quoted vehicle is reserved for your own travelling party. The vehicle category is selected for the number of travellers and luggage. Local activities or restricted sightseeing transport are separate unless confirmed in your quotation.

Can I choose hotels and upgrade the vehicle
Yes, subject to availability and the revised quotation. Share your preferred hotel category, room sharing and vehicle requirements. A particular hotel, room view or vehicle model is confirmed only when stated in writing.
How do I book and receive confirmation
Submit an enquiry or use online booking when the package has an active price. Review the final services and policies, then complete full payment. After receipt and verification, booking confirmation and the voucher are shared within one working day, with an assigned Tour Manager.
What happens if weather or road access changes
Sightseeing order and timing may be adjusted for weather, road access or operating restrictions. Activity operation and access depend on current conditions. Any material change or separately chargeable service will be explained through the applicable booking terms.
Are Gondola tickets and Pahalgam valley taxis included
No, unless added to the written quotation. Gondola tickets, Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari local taxis, entry fees, pony rides and extra activity services are priced separately. The base package includes only the sightseeing transport and ride stated under inclusions.
