Combine Manali’s local sights, Kullu Valley and a full-day journey towards Shinku La Pass in one private holiday from Delhi. This Kullu Manali with Shinku La Pass tour package from Delhi includes four hotel nights in Manali, breakfast and dinner, and private AC pickup–drop. Travel through Atal Tunnel into Lahaul, continue towards Jispa and Darcha, and visit Shinku La where the upper road is officially accessible. A separate Kullu–Naggar day adds temples, traditional architecture and valley views to your five-day itinerary.
All four included hotel nights are in Manali. Arrive after the Delhi drive on Day 1, spend the next three days on local sightseeing and excursions, then check out on Day 5 for your private return transfer.
Keeping one overnight destination makes it easier to settle into your hotel between outings. Choose your hotel category and room sharing when booking, and share the ages of children, luggage requirements and meal preferences with your Tour Manager.
Delhi–Manali is a long road transfer. An early pickup gives you more flexibility for breaks and arrival, while your onward connection on Day 5 needs a suitable buffer. Discuss flight or train timings before confirming the holiday.
Explore our Manali tour packages to compare other durations and sightseeing combinations.
The Shinku La excursion takes you through Atal Tunnel and into Lahaul Valley. Continue through the Sissu and Tandi–Keylong area towards Jispa and Darcha, with selected short photo and comfort stops fitted around the return schedule.
From Darcha, follow the road towards Shinku La on the route linking Lahaul with Zanskar. Shinku La is also written as Shinkula or Shingo La. The changing landscape, river valleys and upper mountain road make this the longest sightseeing day of the tour.
Your excursion vehicle must be suitable and permitted for the upper route. The Tour Manager will reconfirm access and local movement timings for your dates. An open Atal Tunnel route does not automatically confirm access to Shinku La.
The itinerary returns to Manali the same day. Travel beyond the pass towards Padum or other Zanskar destinations needs a separate itinerary with additional time.
The local sightseeing day includes Hadimba Devi Temple, the Tibetan monastery, Club House, Van Vihar, Vashisht and Mall Road. Discuss any additional waterfall walk before the outing so the remaining stops can be planned around it.
The Kullu–Naggar day covers a shawl factory, Naggar Castle, Gauri Shankar Temple and Jagatsukh Temple. Jana Waterfall is visited where road access and the day’s schedule allow.
Optional rafting, adventure activities, entry tickets and personal purchases are payable separately. If you would like more time in the valleys or additional destinations, compare our Himachal tour packages and discuss a longer plan before booking.

Plan the Shinku La excursion during the officially open road season, generally in the warmer months from late spring or summer into autumn. Road clearance and tourist access vary each year. Ask our team to reconfirm the upper route for your dates before booking.
Conditions at Shinku La can be colder and windier than Manali. Carry warm layers even for a summer excursion. Accessible snow depends on the season and recent weather; snowfall, rain and road conditions may change the day's sightseeing.
The excursion follows the Atal Tunnel–Lahaul–Darcha route and current local orders. Your Tour Manager will check any applicable entry registration or vehicle permission requirements for your dates. An open tunnel or Delhi–Manali road does not automatically confirm that the upper Shinku La route is open.
Carry warm clothing, a wind-resistant outer layer, comfortable shoes, gloves, a cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medicines and a valid photo ID. Keep essentials in a small day bag for the long excursion and Delhi transfers. Discuss any walking limitations before the waterfall outing.
Travel to Delhi by your preferred flight, train or road connection. Share your arrival time and exact pickup point before booking. An early Delhi pickup gives more flexibility for the Manali transfer. Discuss the Day 5 return schedule before fixing an onward flight or train.
Mobile connectivity and roadside facilities become limited on the upper route beyond Darcha. Carry some cash and keep your voucher and contact details available offline. Shinku La involves a long day at high altitude; discuss traveller comfort and any need for additional rest nights before booking.
