Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Arrival in Leh and Leh Local Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Leh, you will meet our representative at the Airport and transfer to Hotel in Leh. Complete a smooth check-in process and spend the day to relax and acclimatize the High Altitude of Ladakh. If health permits, explore Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Market by evening. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 02 · Leh to Nubra Valley 3-4 Hrs (135 KM)
After breakfast, proceed towards Nubra Valley via Khardung-la Pass (highest motorable road in the World) with 18380 ft. Reach Nubra Valley by noon, enroute visit Diskit Monastery, check-in at the pre-booked Hotel/camp. Later, leave to enjoy a ride on double-humped (Bactrian) Camel to explore the white sand dunes of Hunder Village. Afterwards get back to the Hotel/Camp as the delicious dinner waits. Overnight at the Hotel/Camp in Nubra Valley.
Day 03 · Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake 7-8 Hrs (274 KM)
After breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake via Shayok River. The Pangong Lake is situated at the height of 4350 mtrs (14270 ft) in the Changthang region. The Lake is six to seven kilometers at its widest point. It is bisected by the international border between the India and China. The Lake has a brilliant color variation including deep blue and turquoise. Enjoy the beautiful scene of the Lake and return back to the Hotel/Camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/camp.
Day 04 · Pangong Lake to Hanle 6-7 Hrs (175 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Hanle, by crossing Chushul Village, Tsaga La (15,200 Ft) enjoy the drive upto Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border, India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma ray telescope. Once complete the Major Atmospheric Cerenkov Experiment Telescope gamma ray telescope under construction they will be the world's largest telescope at the highest altitude and the second largest gamma ray telescope in the world. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at local guest house. Overnight stay at Hanle.
Day 05 · Hanle to Tso Moriri Lake Via Hanle Mahe Bridge 4-5 Hrs ( Aprx 150 KM)
After breakfast check out and drive to Tsmoriri Lake via Ya Ya Tso (Lake) enroute cross Nurpa Pass (16,100 Ft) later cross Mahe Bridge, on the way to the Lake.. Arrival at Korzok by late noon. Evening take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay at Korzok (Tsomoriri).
Day 06 · Tsomoriri to Leh Via Tsokar at Taglangla (260 Kms/ 8-9 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast leave to Leh passing Puga (Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, Taklang La Pass 17,585ft, 2nd Highest motorable road in the world. Arrival at Leh by evening. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 07 · Departure From Leh
After Breakfast you will be transferred to the Airport to fly back to your destination by having a sweet memory of Ladakh.
