Tour Itinerary
Day 01 - Delhi – Narkanda 10-11 Hrs (410 km)
Arrive in Delhi on your own basis by Air or Train. Reach Boarding point in the morning and drive Delhi to Narkanda. Narkanda is the hill station of distt. Shimla, it takes 10-11 Hrs to reach in Narkanda. On arrival in Narkanda check-into the Hotel. O/N stay and dinner in Camp.
Day 02 - Narkanda Local Hattu Mata Temple Sightseen:
Today morning after breakfast, we will proceed to Narkanda local sightseen. Narkanda is a town in Shimla district. It is at an altitude of 2708 meters. Attracts tourists for its ethereal natural beauty and its beautiful apple orchards. Surrounded by tropical forests and majestic hills Hatu peak is the second highest peak in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located at an elevation of 3400 m 11, 152 ft above sea level. The peak is surrounded by dense forest. At the top of the peak is a small wooden temple called Hatu temple. Other attractions of Narkanda include Tannu Jubbar Lake, Stokes Apple Farm etc. Overnight stay in Camp.
Day 03 - Narkanda (Derthu Temple Sightseeing) to Kingal
Today morning after breakfast we will proceed to Derthu Mata temple. It is historic and ancient temple of Mother Goddess is situated at an altitude of about 10,000 feet above the sea level. This place is near Narkanda on the NH22 from second uturn (kainchi)mood take a state single road to temple. You have to pass very thick forest. After short drive you are on top of the hill. Derthu mata temple is found inside the derthu forest.It is approximately 8kms far from narkanda town. Road is little rough with few tricky turns but its broad and all cars are capable of reaching the temple. Mother Goddess has been sitting here since the Primal period, but this magnificent temple was built here in the 12th century. There is a construction of a new and magnificent temple of Mother Goddess which was completed with the help of local people. The Mother Goddess is considered to be the oldest goddess of the Shangri / Kumharsain region and People of both (Shangri / Kumharsen) areas do not forget to give there presense in mata temple as soon as the Navratra starts. Derthu mata is considered as the guardian of the forest,the place has lots of positivity and lots of energy around.
If you won’t trekking then come back to Narkanda camp.
Option:- after blessing of Mata you can trekking derthu to kachinghati by walk it takes 1-2 hrs to reach in kachinghati. From Kachinghati we will drive to Kingal via Shivan valley on the way you can visit Shangri than lord shiva temple. O/N stay and dinner in hotel at Kingal.
Day 04 - Kingal to Delhi 11-12 Hrs (432 Km)
Today morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive towards Delhi airport/railway station.
