Day 01 · Delhi to Shangarh (11-12 Hours, 500 KM)
Upon your arrival in Delhi (Advised time in morning) our cab driver will meet you at the airport, railway station, or any preferred location within the city. From there, embark on a scenic drive towards the enchanting and unexplored destination of Shangarh. After a long but beautiful journey, you will arrive in Shangarh. Upon arrival, enjoy a smooth check-in at your hotel, followed by a delicious dinner. Relax and unwind with an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 · Shangarh Sightseeing*
After a hearty breakfast, begin your exploration of the serene and picturesque Shangarh, nestled in the Sainj Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Known for its rich history, Shangarh boasts unique architecture that reflects its cultural heritage. Start your day by visiting the Sangchul Mahadev Temple, a striking brown structure surrounded by lush green grass. This temple is not only a spiritual haven but also a symbol of the area's deep-rooted traditions. Next, marvel at the extraordinary wood craftsmanship of the Tower Temple, another architectural gem in the town.
As the day progresses, take a stroll through the nearby settlements of Goshati and Darari, where you'll be greeted by rows of beautiful apple orchards, adding a touch of nature's bounty to your journey. Day 03 · Excursion to Pundrik Rishi Lake*
Start your day with a delightful breakfast, surrounded by the breathtaking green landscapes of Shangarh. Afterward, prepare for an invigorating hike to the serene Pundrik Rishi Lake. Begin your journey by heading towards the village of Jhili Neahi, where you'll follow a scenic trail that winds through picturesque landscapes. As you continue, you'll arrive at the charming village of Sarahan, known for its expansive open meadows.
The trail will lead you through dense cedar trees and vibrant maize farms, eventually bringing you to a small shrine, a precursor to the tranquil Pundrik Rishi Lake. Spend some peaceful moments by the lake, soaking in the natural beauty and serenity of the surroundings. Afterward, retrace your steps back to Shangarh, where you'll enjoy a restful overnight stay at your hotel, reflecting on the day's adventure.
Day 04 · Shangarh to Jibhi & Sightseeing
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out on a scenic drive towards the enchanting village of Jibhi. The journey takes you downhill through the serene Sainj Valley, following the winding path of the Tirthan River, eventually leading you to the picturesque village of Jibhi in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.
Upon arrival in Jibhi, check in to your hotel and take some time to rest and rejuvenate. Later, venture out to explore the natural beauty and tranquility of this offbeat destination. Start by visiting the serene Jibhi Waterfall, and if you're up for a short trek, make your way to the nearby area known as Mini Thailand, a small town with stunning landscapes. For those interested in outdoor activities, you can try your hand at trout fishing or visit the nearby Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
As the day comes to an end, return to your hotel in Jibhi for a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Day 05 · Excursion to Serolsar Lake*
Begin your day with a breathtaking sunrise, accompanied by a refreshing cup of tea. After enjoying a wholesome breakfast, set out on a scenic journey through the stunning Jibhi - Jalori Pass. This route will lead you to the starting point of a short but rewarding hike to the serene Serolsar Lake.
Nestled in the lap of nature, Serolsar Lake is a tranquil marvel surrounded by dense Alpine trees. The lake holds a special place in the hearts of the locals, who consider it sacred. Nearby, you'll find a temple dedicated to Goddess Budhi Nagin, adding a spiritual touch to the natural beauty of the area.
After spending some peaceful moments at the lake, return to your hotel in Jibhi for an overnight stay, wrapping up the day with the serene memories of the lake and the surrounding landscapes.
Day 06 · Trip to Chehni Kothi or Raghupur Fort Hike | Drive to Kullu*
Start your day with a beautiful sunrise, accompanied by a refreshing cup of tea. After a wholesome breakfast, embark on a journey through the scenic landscapes of Jibhi. Your first stop will be the historic Chehni Kothi, a remarkable fort built from stone and wood, reflecting the rich heritage of the region.
After exploring this impressive structure, continue your journey towards Kullu. Upon arrival in Kullu, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay and dinner. This will allow for a restful night, ensuring you're well-prepared for the drive back to Delhi tomorrow.
Day 07 · Kullu to Delhi* 9-10 hrs (480 km)
After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and embark on the journey back to Delhi. Enjoy the scenic landscapes as you drive through the winding roads of the Himalayas. The journey will take approximately 11-12 hours. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station, marking the end of your memorable trip.
