This Vaishno Devi tour package from Jammu includes one Katra night and one Jammu night over three days. It is a short pilgrimage plan for travellers who can reach Jammu early and allow enough time for the yatra before continuing to Jammu.
After your private transfer to Katra, check in and complete the required yatra registration process. Darshan involves travel beyond the road transfer, and its duration depends on your chosen mode, waiting time and current conditions. The following day is reserved for returning, resting and travelling to Jammu once you are ready. Jammu sightseeing is planned around your departure on Day 3. If your arrival is late, queues are long or you want a full rest day, add a second Katra night. Helicopter tickets, ponies, palkis, battery vehicles and priority darshan are not included in the base quotation. A Patnitop extension is available as the separately quoted four-day option described in this file.

Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 01 · Jammu to Katra and Yatra Planning
Approx. 45-50 km | 1.5-2 hours of driving; yatra time is additional
Reach Jammu early, meet your driver and transfer to Katra. After check-in, complete the required yatra registration and collect the prescribed access card. Begin your Vaishno Devi visit only when the timing and your chosen travel mode make it practical. The yatra and darshan may continue into the night. A late arrival should be handled with an additional Katra night rather than a rushed schedule.

Day 02 · Return from the Yatra and Transfer to Jammu
Approx. 45-50 km | 1.5-2 hours of road transfer, after return and rest
Complete your return from the yatra and allow time to rest. Coordinate the hotel checkout and onward drive with the team; breakfast follows the property's meal timing. Travel to Jammu once ready and check in to your hotel. If the yatra extends beyond the planned schedule, request revised accommodation and transfer arrangements. The evening in Jammu is kept at leisure.

Day 03 · Jammu Sightseeing and Departure
Selected city circuit approx. 20-35 km | 3-5 hours, subject to departure time
After breakfast, check out and visit selected Jammu attractions such as Raghunath Temple, Bahu Fort or Bagh e Bahu, according to opening hours and your departure time. Entry tickets are separate unless confirmed. Your driver will then drop you at Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station. Shorten sightseeing if needed to protect the airport or train reporting buffer.
Meals: Breakfast. No accommodation night is included after the final drop.

Transport Scope

Are return helicopter tickets included
No. The base retail package does not include helicopter tickets. Book any helicopter service through the authorised Shrine Board process and follow its current rules. Tickets, operation and refund conditions are separate from the hotel and road-tour package.
Where are pickup and drop included
Pickup is from Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station; drop is at Jammu Airport or Jammu Railway Station. Share arrival and departure details before booking. A different airport, station or city pickup may change the route, timings and cost.
Is this a private tour
Yes. The quoted vehicle is reserved for your own travelling party. The vehicle category is selected for the number of travellers and luggage. Local activities or restricted sightseeing transport are separate unless confirmed in your quotation.
Which meals are included
MAP includes 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, starting with dinner on arrival day and ending with breakfast on departure day. Lunch and food outside the set meal plan are extra. Tell the team about dietary requests before confirmation.
Can I choose hotels and upgrade the vehicle
Yes, subject to availability and the revised quotation. Share your preferred hotel category, room sharing and vehicle requirements. A particular hotel, room view or vehicle model is confirmed only when stated in writing.
How do I book and receive confirmation
Submit an enquiry or use online booking when the package has an active price. Review the final services and policies, then complete full payment. After receipt and verification, booking confirmation and the voucher are shared within one working day, with an assigned Tour Manager.
What happens if weather or road access changes
Sightseeing order and timing may be adjusted for weather, road access or operating restrictions. Activity operation and access depend on current conditions. Any material change or separately chargeable service will be explained through the applicable booking terms.
Can I add Patnitop or another Katra night
Yes. A separately quoted 3-night Patnitop extension is described below. A second Katra night may be more useful when you want a dedicated yatra day or a slower pilgrimage schedule. Confirm the revised overnight pattern and cost before payment.
