Visit nine Devi temples across Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Katra on a private pilgrimage with Royal Rover Holiday. This 6-night, 7-day Nau Devi Darshan tour starts in Chandigarh and covers Mansa Devi, Naina Devi, Chintpurni, Sheetla Devi, Jwala Ji, Baglamukhi, Brajeshwari Devi, Chamunda Devi and Maa Vaishno Devi. Start in Chandigarh and Continue Through Himachal
Your driver receives you at the agreed Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station pickup point. The first day includes Maa Mansa Devi darshan in Panchkula and an overnight stay in Chandigarh.
The following day takes you to Naina Devi, Chintpurni and Sheetla Devi before reaching Dharamshala. Two nights in Dharamshala allow you to complete the Jwala Ji, Baglamukhi and Brajeshwari Devi circuit while returning to the same hotel.
On Day 4, visit Chamunda Devi before continuing to Katra. Each temple is listed separately, so you know which darshan stops form part of your booking.
Three Nights in Katra
Your Katra stay includes an arrival night, the planned Vaishno Devi darshan day and an additional day for rest.
Maa Vaishno Devi and Bhairon Baba darshan are planned for Day 5. Day 6 provides time to recover after the yatra before the final road journey. It also provides some flexibility if queues or operating conditions extend the pilgrimage.
Official yatra registration and collection of the required RFID access card must be completed before starting the yatra. Helicopter, pony, palki, battery-car and ropeway services are separately chargeable unless included in your written quotation.

Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 1 · Chandigarh Arrival – Mata Mansa Devi Darshan
Arrive at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station and meet your driver at the confirmed pickup point.
Visit Mata Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula for darshan. The order of the temple visit and hotel check-in will depend on your arrival time and room availability.
After darshan, settle into your Chandigarh hotel and rest before the next day’s journey. An arrival with sufficient time for the temple visit is recommended.

Day 2 · Chandigarh – Naina Devi – Chintpurni – Sheetla Devi – Dharamshala
Distance: Approx. 280–320 km for the complete road route
Travel Time: Approx. 7–9 hours of driving; allow a full day with the three temple visits. These are estimates for the combined route.
After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey towards Maa Naina Devi Temple.
Visit the hilltop shrine for darshan. The stairs or available ropeway can be considered according to your preference; ropeway tickets are separately chargeable.
Continue to Maa Chintpurni Temple, followed by Maa Sheetla Devi Temple near Chintpurni. Both are separate darshan stops.
After completing the visits, proceed to Dharamshala and check in to your hotel. This is a busy travel day, so an early departure and coordinated meal arrangements are advisable.

Day 3 · Dharamshala – Jwala Ji – Baglamukhi – Brajeshwari Devi – Dharamshala

After breakfast, depart for Maa Jwala Ji Temple. Continue to Maa Baglamukhi Temple at Bankhandi before visiting Maa Brajeshwari Devi Temple in Kangra.
Brajeshwari Devi is also known as Kangra Devi or Vajreshwari Devi. Baglamukhi and Kangra Devi are separate temples on this itinerary.
After darshan, return to your Dharamshala hotel for dinner and rest. Your room remains booked for the second night, so checkout is not required today.

Day 4 · Dharamshala – Chamunda Devi Darshan – Katra

After an early breakfast, check out and visit Maa Chamunda Devi Temple for darshan.

Distance: Approx. 26–29 km for the return pilgrimage on foot, depending on the track and use of the Bhairon ropeway
Travel Time: Keep the full day available. Allow approximately 12–16 hours or more for walking, breaks and darshan; this is a planning allowance, not a fixed completion time.
Start early for the Maa Vaishno Devi yatra from Katra. Your room remains booked at the same hotel.
Proceed to Bhawan for Maa Vaishno Devi darshan, followed by the planned visit to Bhairon Baba Temple. Coordinate the visit around current route access and facility operating hours.
The private road vehicle does not travel to Bhawan. Pony, palki, helicopter, battery-car and ropeway services are separately chargeable and subject to availability.
Return to your Katra hotel and rest. Discuss hotel meal timings in advance if you expect an early departure or late return.

Navratri is an important period for Devi darshan and can bring heavy queues and higher hotel demand. Book early and allow additional time during festivals, weekends and school holidays. The route includes lower towns, hill roads and the higher shrine area, so conditions can vary within the same journey.
Weather & Snowfall
Chandigarh and the lower temple towns can be warm in summer. Dharamshala and the higher Vaishno Devi route may feel cooler, particularly after sunset. Carry seasonal layers, warmer clothing in winter and rain protection during wet weather. Snowfall is not an assured feature of this package. Check current forecasts and Shrine Board updates before departure.
Road & Permit Information
This tour includes hill roads around Naina Devi and the Kangra Valley, together with intercity travel to Katra and the selected drop city. Maa Vaishno Devi pilgrims must complete official registration and collect their RFID access cards before beginning the yatra. The registration process is separate from your holiday booking. Follow current Shrine Board instructions for permitted tracks, security checks and operating facilities.
