Begin in Amritsar and Continue to Katra
Your driver receives you at the agreed Amritsar Airport or Railway Station pickup point. After hotel check-in, Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh visits can be arranged if your arrival time and visiting hours permit.
The following day takes you to Katra. Two nights at the same hotel cover your arrival and the planned Mata Vaishno Devi and Bhairon Baba darshan day. Your hotel room remains booked while you undertake the yatra.
Dharamshala and the Himachal Devi Circuit
From Katra, continue towards Dharamshala with Kunal Pathri darshan. Two nights in Dharamshala provide a base for visiting Chamunda Devi, Brajeshwari Devi, Baglamukhi Devi and Jwala Ji.
The onward journey includes Chintpurni and nearby Sheetla Devi before your overnight stay in Naina Devi. Any temple visit delayed during the Dharamshala circuit can be accommodated in the following day’s sequence where practical.
Naina Devi darshan is planned for the next morning. Afterwards, travel towards Panchkula for Mansa Devi darshan and spend your final night in Chandigarh before departure.

Day-Wise Tour Plan & Sightseeing
Day 1 · Amritsar Arrival and Sightseeing, Time Permitting
Distance: Approximately 20–50 km of local travel, depending on your pickup point, hotel and visits.
Travel Time: Approximately 1–2 hours of driving, plus sightseeing time.
Arrive at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station, where your driver will receive you and transfer you to the hotel.
After check-in and some rest, visit the Golden Temple if your arrival time permits. Jallianwala Bagh can also be included within its visiting hours.
An early arrival gives you more time for these visits. With a late arrival, the day will focus on your hotel transfer and rest before the journey to Katra.
Meals: Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight Stay: Amritsar.
Day 2 · Amritsar to Katra
Distance: Approximately 250–270 km by road.
Travel Time: Approximately 5–6 hours of driving, excluding breaks.
After breakfast, check out from your Amritsar hotel and begin the road journey to Katra, the base town for the Mata Vaishno Devi yatra.
On arrival, check in to your hotel and rest. Use the remaining time to prepare for the pilgrimage and complete the required yatra registration and RFID access-card process.
Your assigned Tour Manager can guide you on the preparations and explain which optional yatra services require separate booking.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
Overnight Stay: Katra.
Day 3 · Mata Vaishno Devi and Bhairon Baba Darshan
Distance: Approximately 26–29 km for the return yatra, depending on the walking route and ropeway use.
Travel Time: Allow approximately 12–16 hours or longer for the complete yatra, depending on your pace, queues and selected services.
Plan an early start for Mata Vaishno Devi darshan. Your room remains booked at the same Katra hotel for the second night.
Proceed towards Bhawan for darshan. The Shrine Board lists Bhawan approximately 13 km from Katra and Bhairon Ghati via Bhawan approximately 14.5 km from Katra.
After the main darshan, continue to Bhairon Baba according to the available access and operating arrangements. Ropeway services, where operating, are separately chargeable.
Your private road vehicle does not travel to Bhawan. Helicopter, pony, palki, pithu and battery-car services are additional arrangements, subject to their respective availability and rules.
Return to your Katra hotel and rest. Discuss breakfast and dinner timings with the hotel in advance if you expect an early departure or late return.

Day 4 · Katra to Dharamshala via Kunal Pathri Temple
Distance: Approximately 240–260 km, including the planned local temple visit.

Visit Kunal Pathri Temple near Dharamshala for darshan before settling into your hotel. This small temple dedicated to Goddess Durga forms the additional Devi stop in your ten-temple itinerary.
Continue to your Dharamshala hotel, check in and spend the evening resting after the road journey.

Day 5 · Dharamshala and Kangra Devi Darshan Circuit
Distance: Approximately 150–180 km for the complete temple circuit and hotel return.

Start early for your scheduled Devi Darshan circuit:
- Chamunda Devi: Visit the shrine for darshan.
- Brajeshwari Devi, Kangra: Continue to the temple also known as Vajreshwari or Kangra Devi.
- Baglamukhi Devi, Bankhandi: Visit this separate temple near Dehra.
- Jwala Ji, Jwalamukhi: Complete your planned darshan at the shrine associated with the sacred flames.
Return to the same Dharamshala hotel after the circuit. If queues delay a visit, your Tour Manager and driver will coordinate the following day’s sequence.

Day 6 · Dharamshala to Naina Devi via Chintpurni and Sheetla Devi
Distance: Approximately 190–220 km for the planned route.

After an early breakfast, check out from your Dharamshala hotel. Complete any pending temple visit from the previous day where required, then continue towards Chintpurni.
Visit Mata Chintpurni Temple for darshan, followed by Sheetla Devi Temple near Dharamsala Mahantan. This Sheetla Devi shrine is approximately 5 km west of Chintpurni.
Continue towards Naina Devi and check in to your hotel. Your main Naina Devi darshan is planned for the following morning, allowing time to rest after today’s transfers and temple visits.

Day 7 · Naina Devi Darshan, Mansa Devi and Chandigarh
